Centre for Surgical Excellence and Innovations

Overview

The Centre for Surgical Excellence and Innovations works to improve surgical outcomes through research on surgical safety, technique, and access to care. We study barriers to timely surgical intervention and evaluate new approaches to reduce complications.

We also support surgical training and mentorship programs to build a pipeline of skilled surgeons across the region.

Vision

Safe, accessible surgical care for every patient who needs it.
